The Bradford County Bridge was closed for inspection

WEST BURLINGTON TWP., Pa. (WETM) — A bridge in Bradford County is now closed pending an inspection next week.

According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the bridge that carries Bronson Road (T-328) over Sugar Creek, located in West Burlington Township, is closed due to an oversized tractor-trailer crossing it. The bridge is a bridge owned by the commune that has a limit of 15 tons.

Milling and paving will be done in the city of Elmira

The bridge is expected to remain closed until an inspection can be carried out, which should take place next week. Motorists are asked to use local roads as a detour around the bridge.
