We are in the final stages of building our new dementia day care units at Knowl Park House in Mirfield.

Parking

Contractors installed permeable block paving in the new south parking lot and also created a path to the parking lot. In line with our cleaner and greener agenda, the car park includes electric vehicle chargers, which have now been installed. The entrance road to the parking lot is currently being built. Inside, construction work has been completed on the ceilings with acoustic reproduction in some rooms.

Electrical works

Work on the final mechanical and electrical repair is progressing well. The final fix refers to all the elements you see in the finished building and includes things like sockets, switches, light fixtures. As part of it, the sanitary ware was installed.

The Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FFE) and kitchens are now being fitted out and here service users can enjoy a nice cuppa and a chat with family and friends. Flooring and vinyl was also installed in the wet areas.

Contractors will finish the hard landscaping of the new yard and begin work on the soft landscaping. Work on the new fascias and the installation of the soffits will be completed. Outdoor lighting will also be installed, and the new paths will be paved.

New doors and finished ceilings will go up inside the building and brush strokes continue as painting and decorating work continues.
