Live updates as Loughborough Street is cordoned off by police

A road in a Leicestershire town has been closed by police this morning (Friday 5 July). Barrow Street in Loughborough is closed from Leicester Road to Baxter Gate, Leicestershire Police said.

It said this was due to a “police incident” in the area. He asked drivers to find alternative routes.
