Arne Slot has refused to be drawn into how much transfer business Liverpool have to do this summer, saying he needs to work with his squad before making any decisions.

Asked how much he felt was needed during the summer window, head coach Slot stopped short of putting a number on the matter, but admitted that revenue was needed to get Liverpool going.

“Not in specific numbers,” Slot said when asked about revenue. “It’s clear to me that I inherited a good team. There were already some changes last season and the way I look at football I can see during the Euros how important it is to work daily with the players for longer.

“In my opinion, you see a lot of really good players, not all of them are at the same level at clubs, so that shows me how important it is to work with your players every day and get the best out of them. something we will do.
