Fears grow for missing Greater Manchester teenager as police say they are ‘increasingly concerned’

Officers have launched an urgent appeal to find a teenager who is missing in Greater Manchester. Police say they are “increasingly concerned” about Riley.

The young man is currently missing from his home in Wigan. The 15-year-old’s surname has not been released by Greater Manchester Police.




An appeal was posted on social media this morning (July 5) to find Riley. The police published a photo of the young man alongside the appeal.

In the photo, Riley can be seen with dark brown hair with fringes. A spokesman for GMP Wigan posted on Facebook: “Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Riley and would like to make sure he is safe and well.”

Anyone who sees Riley or has information on his whereabouts is urged to come forward as soon as possible. Contact GMP on 101 quoting the missing reference number MSP/06LL/0001706/24.
