Shoplifting suspect arrested in West Bromwich

Sandwell Police posted on their X (formerly Twitter) account today July 5th of an arrest made yesterday afternoon July 4th.

The tweet said a 49-year-old man was taken into custody after they promptly responded to a report of shoplifting in West Bromwich High Street.

Its website read: “We have arrested an alleged thief in West Bromwich High Street.

“The 49-year-old man was apprehended after we promptly responded to a shoplifting report yesterday afternoon.

“We know the impact and frustration of retail crime and are continuing our work to reduce it.”
