Cushman & Wakefield Vietnam celebrates World Book Day | Vietnam

In a 24-hour day, we spend a third of it working together, which is 90,000 hours of our lives. It is essential to build meaningful connections with people who will spend this time with you and who can positively impact your well-being at work.

World Book Day 2024 Vietnam

On the first Thursday of April, our Vietnam team celebrated World Book Day at the Cushman & Wakefield office with a book exchange. The spirit we wanted to convey was to awaken old book lovers and connect book loving souls. Trading cards isn’t just trading cards; it’s about sharing stories and connecting with each other. Employees were randomly paired with another colleague to whom they would select a favorite book along with a meaningful quote they would like to send to their colleague.

Trang Bui, CEO of Cushman & Wakefield Vietnam divided:

“Everyone’s excitement and enthusiasm for Book Swap Day exceeded my expectations. As a large part of our lives is spent working, I hope that activities like this can help our people gain a deeper understanding of each other, make going to work more interesting and create lasting relationships in their careers.”

More about World Book Day: It was first organized on April 23, 1995 by UNESCO to promote reading. Nowadays, reading culture is increasingly emphasized and widely promoted through many interesting activities, such as organizing book fairs and book exhibitions, giving books to poor children and students in remote areas, or organizing competitions writing and art. World Book Day is a special celebration to honor the value of books and encourage people to read more.

In our journey to cultivate positive values, Cushman & Wakefield greatly values the camaraderie between our North and South offices. On World Book Day, our Ho Chi Minh City office presented our colleagues in Hanoi with beloved books that bridged physical distance. Each book exchange fostered a sense of connection and camaraderie, transcending geographic boundaries.

We trust that with the unwavering unity and collective effort of our team. Cushman & Wakefield will continue to achieve remarkable milestones in the years to come.
