Leicester City unveil new home shirt for 2024/25 Premier League season as price goes up

Leicester City’s home shirt for the 2024/25 season has been unveiled. The new jersey, made by adidas for the seventh straight campaign, went on sale on Saturday morning.

It features new sponsor BC.Game for the first time. City signed a lucrative two-year deal with the crypto casino that they say will help fund their transfer business.

The new shirt features the classic adidas three stripes down the sleeves and gold detailing around the collar. At the top of the back of the shirt, the club motto ‘Foxes Never Quit’ is imprinted.

The adult shirt will cost £70, a rise of £7 on last year. The kids version, which is free of the BC.Game shirt sponsor, is priced at £45, the same as last season.

City fans will be able to see the team in the new shirt in pre-season, potentially for the first friendly under Steve Cooper, away at Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday, July 23. No date has yet been set for the release of the away and third strips.

The choice of sponsor has prompted controversy and criticism among City supporters, with many upset that the club would choose to advertise gambling on the front of their shirts. Gambling sponsors are widespread throughout the Premier League, but will only be so for two more seasons, as the league has introduced a ban on such shirt sponsors from the start of the 26-27 season.
