Police concern over ‘suspicious incident’ involving woman and child in North Warwickshire

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by police following a “suspicious incident” involving a woman and a child in North Warwickshire. Officers say it involved a red car in the Wishaw area of ​​Sutton Coldfield.

“Between 10pm and 11pm on July 4, a woman and a child were seen getting into a red hatchback car in suspicious circumstances,” a Warwickshire Police spokesman said. “The incident took place on Gigg Lane, just off Lichfield Road..”

Investigating officers now want to hear from anyone who was in the area on Thursday night, the spokesman said. They launched an appeal for witnesses on social media.
