Travel expert warns you could be charged extra for new Ryanair boarding pass rule

A travel content creator has urged tourists to consider the extra costs when flying on a Ryanair flight. The creator known as NDA Internet urged people not to get “caught”.

In a video from May, the NDA talked about a new Ryanair boarding pass system, claiming that passes will no longer be sent to customers online. He claimed: “This new boarding pass system is only for people who have not paid for an allocated seat.

“Because if you haven’t paid for an assigned seat, you’ll have to queue at the airport on the day of your flight.”

The creator suggested that this new “rule” will affect your boarding time on the day of your flight, even causing you to miss your flight. The NDA continued: “Given possible delays and waiting times at this time.”

He prefaces this news with the revelation that Ryanair has not made an official announcement, but there have been reports of this happening to customers recently.

According to Ryanair website , passengers will be able to access their boarding passes through the “My Bookings” section of its website or through the airline’s app. Passes will be available after you have checked in for your flight.

However, if you’ve forgotten your boarding pass and don’t have access to the Ryanair app to download it, you’ll need to print one at the check-in desk, but you’ll be charged a reissue fee. The airline also reminded passengers that there are some airports that cannot accept mobile boarding passes, including Turkey (except Dalaman Airport), Morocco and Tirana, Albania.
