Motorcyclist injured in accident on main road

A man was injured after he got off his motorcycle on a busy road.

Several emergency vehicles, including police and paramedics, were seen at the roundabout where Hough Green Road meets Prescot Road in Widnes.

“I had to be at work at 2 p.m. I got a text that said, “You have to get in, the police are all here.” It was at 1:40 a.m.”

Emma said police left the scene at around 3.30pm.

A Cheshire Police spokesman said the force received a report just before 2pm that a crash had taken place on Hough Green Road. The police went there and found a man who had got off his motorcycle on the roundabout. An ambulance was called and the man was treated at the scene for leg and shoulder pain.
