Arsenal exit set for Auston Trusty as Sheffield United target summer deal

Arsenal defender Auston Trusty is expected to leave the club this summer amid interest from Ipswich, Sheffield United and Swansea.

Trusty joined the Gunners in 2022 from Major League Soccer (MLS) Colorado Rapids and spent last season on loan at Birmingham.

The centre-back excelled in the Championship and was voted Player of the Season by Blues supporters.

Trusty was then part of Arsenal’s pre-season tour of the US, but the Gunners are now ready to let him go.

The 24-year-old is attracting interest from newly promoted Premier League side Sheffield United.

Trusty is also on the radar of several Championship clubs, including Ipswich and Swansea.

Arsenal would consider taking the American international on loan or accepting a permanent offer.
