Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s replacement named Leicester City midfielder

Football media have linked a possible replacement for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall with Leicester City Football Club. As well as this target, the Foxes have also sealed the capture of a promising midfielder.

Will Matt O’Riley finally move to England this summer after years of speculation linking him to the East Midlands outfit? He wouldn’t be a bad buy – far from it! And what do LCFC have on their hands now that teenager Michael Golding has joined the team? One for the future, I imagine.

Welcome to a weekend recap of all things Leicester and thanks for joining us. I hope you’re not suffering too much from England headaches and hangovers the most recent dramatic come from behind victory. Gareth Southgate and his men provide less entertainment than they should or would like.

However, the Three Lions are where they want to be: the semi-finals of a major tournament against beatable opposition with a strong chance of reaching the final. The French or the Germans, a respectively menacing proposition, regardless of which nation will triumph, await in the final showdown at Euro 2024.

We’ll get to the two topics at the top of this article in due course, I promise. But first I wanted to get any potential Foxes internationals out of the way. Unfortunately for LCFC fans, now that Belgium and Denmark have been knocked out of the competition in Germany, there is Not current City players are no longer involved.

Wout Faes represented the Belgians until France ended their run on 1 July. Meanwhile, Victor Kristiansen, Jannik Vestergaard and Mads Hermansen represented the Danes. Germany sent them home on June 29.

Michael Golding is now officially a fox on this sunny and rainy English Sunday afternoon. The Chelsea Academy graduate was well thought of at Stamford Bridge; made his senior debut for the Blues in January in the FA Cup against Preston North End. The 18-year-old has been with CFC for about seven years.

O’Riley is certainly the type of footballer I can see flying around the King Power Stadium. He has the skills and overall profile associated with the Leicestershire outfit. Not to mention the Hoops man is similar to Dewsbury-Hall in some respects.

LCFC have company in their pursuit of the 23-year-old, who appears to have a Premier League pedigree. Apparently Southampton and Ipswich Town are fellow admirers.
