Man taken to hospital and two arrested after incident in Keynsham

Two men have been arrested following a suspected assault in Keynsham last night (July 6). Officers were called to Lincoln Close following reports of an assault on a man.

The victim was transported to the hospital with injuries that would not be life-threatening or life-changing. The two men have since been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

Avon and Somerset Police said a scene is currently in place today (July 7) and people in the area will see more officers in the area. A spokesman for the force said: “Two people are in police custody following a suspected assault in Keynsham yesterday evening (Saturday, July 6).
