Air ambulance called to medical emergency in Nuneaton

An air ambulance has sprung into action following a medical emergency in Nuneaton. Locals in the Camp Hill area of ​​the city saw it flying near Stubbs Park.

West Midlands Ambulance Service told CoventryLive that Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance was among the 999 responses to a call for a medical emergency at an address in Edinburgh Road on Saturday morning, July 6. But a spokesman for the ambulance service said it had been suspended.




Instead, doctors from an ambulance and a paramedic officer treated a man. He was then taken to the hospital for further treatment. “We were called to a private address on Edinburgh Road at 8.52am on Saturday with an ambulance and paramedic officer at the scene,” a WMAS spokesman said.

“On arrival we found a male patient who, following treatment, was taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire,” added the ambulance spokesman. CoventryLive has contacted Warwickshire Police.
