Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle Surface Images

Infographics

Royal Enfield is developing its first electric motorcycle and patent images for it have surfaced. The bike is codenamed electrik01 and is likely to be launched by 2026.

Based on the images, Royal Enfield has come up with a modern-retro design for its electric motorcycle. The design cues seem to have been inspired by the Royal Enfield Classic 350. It has a similar teardrop-shaped fuel tank, round headlamp and curved fenders.

Royal Enfield has also fitted the bike with front beam fork suspension for that authentic vintage look. At the rear, there appears to be a monoshock, likely located under the driver’s seat.

The electric motor and battery appear to be packaged as a single unit and placed where you’d conventionally find a petrol engine. There are no details on engine power or battery capacity, but we could expect to see the bike easily cross 100 km/h and have a battery that lasts for at least 100 km.
