Woman seriously injured after ‘dispute over children’ at Wiltshire skatepark

A woman has been seriously injured in an attack in Wiltshire.

Shortly before 7pm on Sunday, June 16, a 30-year-old woman was assaulted by two people following a dispute involving their children in Melksham.

The incident happened near Waitrose Car Park and King George V Skatepark and the woman suffered a serious hip injury.

Wiltshire Police are appealing for information and believe there were a number of people at the skatepark who may have witnessed the incident and can assist with their enquiries.

Officers are asking anyone with information to call 101 and quote crime reference number 54240070274 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
