Live: A38 blocked by rush hour crash

Traffic is backed up in Cornwall after a rush hour crash. The A38 eastbound has been partially blocked by a collision at Tideford, with motorists facing slow-moving traffic this morning (Tuesday, July 9).

Google Maps and National Highways traffic maps show congestion forming along the busy road in addition to the usual slow morning traffic. Inris traffic monitor reports: “A38 eastbound partially blocked, traffic queued due to accident from Kilna Lane (Tideford) to Tideford Road (Landrake).”

Traffic is cleared after the accident

Road cleared and traffic relief, accident cleared on A38 eastbound from Kilna Lane (Tideford) to Tideford Road (Landarke).

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to the collision. No one is believed to have been injured.

A fallen tree closes Cornwall Road

Treliske Lane in both directions has been closed due to the fallen tree from the A390 Tresawls Road to Coosebean Lane. Traffic is doing well.
