Amazon’s annual Prime Day event is almost upon us. Bargain hunters can look forward to discounts in a wide range of departments on July 16-17. These discounts will be available exclusively to Prime members, who can expect savings on beauty, technology, homewares, baby and toddler items, kitchenware and more. You can sign up for Amazon Prime here for £8.99 per month. The subscription comes with a 30-day free trial, or you can opt to pay in advance for 12 months instead of monthly – it’ll cost you £95. Prime members enjoy unlimited free shipping on all orders and access to Amazon TV. The site has also launched a special offer for students between the ages of 18 and 22. Students can take advantage of an offer where they will receive a six-month free trial before monthly payments begin. Instead of the usual £8.99 monthly fee, you’ll pay just £4.39 – that’s a saving of £47.49 per year.
