🚨 Leicester City confirm the signing of Caleb Okoli

Leicester City have confirmed the arrival of centre-back Caleb Okoli from Serie A side Atalanta.

The Foxes, who were promoted back to the Premier League at the first time of asking, paid a fee of around €15m (£12.6m) for the centre-back, who spent last season on loan at Frosinone, but he was contracted to Tinuta Bergamo Atalanta.

He appeared 37 times last season but could not prevent Frosinone from being relegated to Serie B despite impressing at the heart of their defence.

Although not yet official, the club accidentally aired the defender’s first interview with the club on their Youtube channel, before it was quickly deleted.

The 22-year-old has penned a five-year deal at the King Power Stadium and becomes Steve Cooper’s second signing of the summer following the arrival of Michael Golding from Chelsea.
