Repairs are underway at a concert hall, just eight months after opening.

Members of the public reported a leak at the Bristol Beacon during a comedy show on Friday night as it rained heavily in the city.

The venue, which was previously known as Colston Hall, underwent a £132m refurbishment in June 2018. It was completed in November 2023.

A spokesperson for the venue said: “We are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety and comfort for all who visit Beacon.”

They confirmed that the “minor leak” occurred in the flat roof above the Lantern Foyer after a period of heavy rain that evening.
