A bus passenger in Croydon was stabbed after being confronted by a man with his feet on the seats

A man traveling on a bus was stabbed after he confronted another passenger who had his feet on the seats, police said.

Detectives have released a picture of a man they want to speak to after the 50-year-old victim was attacked on a bus in the south. London.

The victim was on a bus on Route 64 in Croydon when a man got on and sat with his feet on the seats shortly after 3am on June 4.

After confronting the man, the victim was stabbed several times in the leg, the Metropolitan Police said.

The suspect left the bus at East Croydon station.

The injured man went to hospital where he was treated for his injuries and the police were called.
