The exact times the Red Arrows will be flying over Swindon and Wiltshire TODAY

The Red Arrows will fly over Swindon and Wiltshire later this afternoon.

The military display team is due to appear at the Royal International Air Tattoo this weekend – but before that, eagle-eyed fans can see the iconic aircraft as the planes travel between RAF Waddington and Bournemouth Airport this afternoon.

The talented pilots often cause excitement as they soar through the skies and many in Wiltshire are often on the lookout for their incredible aerial acrobatics as they travel across the county.

They will fly north of Abindon on Thames at around 18.04 before passing Faringdon and pass between Swindon and Marlborough, appearing south of Wroughton at 18.07, then continue through Wiltshire to Trowbridge, where they can be seen above Westwood at 18.11.

The Red Arrows will then head south near Frome and Warminster as they leave the county heading for Sturminster Newton at 6.15pm before arriving in Bournemouth at 6.18pm.

Flying distinctive fast Hawk aircraft, the team consists of pilots, engineers and essential support personnel with front-line operational experience.
