Hancocks’ Sheffield depot is welcoming customers back after undergoing a significant refurbishment.

The confectionery wholesaler has carried out a six-figure refurbishment of its northern hub to refresh the look of the warehouse and improve the shopping experience.

The refurbishment is part of an improvement program which has been rolled out across all 14 Hancocks sites nationwide since the start of this year.

New features include improved external signage, clearer in-store directional signage, branded aisle and specialist areas.

Brands can now have a dedicated area with new promotional screens and plinths showcasing their offering.

The warehouse has also implemented a welcome panel with a QR code showing offers, as well as a unique label on the products in the box, giving shoppers a preview of what’s inside the box.

“We are delighted to unveil our newly refurbished Sheffield depot to our valued customers,” said Hancocks chief operating officer Jonathan Summerley.

“Our commercial customers in Sheffield can expect a more efficient, welcoming environment and easy navigation from the moment they walk in until they get home.”

“This update represents our commitment to provide an improved shopping experience and improve the customer journey for our new and existing shoppers.”
