Travelers leave the park and move to playgrounds a mile away

A group of travelers who set up camp at Truro Park and Ride earlier this week have left the site and moved to a playing field just a mile away. The camp arrived at Tregurra Park and Ride on the outskirts of Truro on Monday (July 8), made up of around 15 caravans and associated vehicles.

Police attended the scene on Monday afternoon to speak to the group but confirmed no crime was associated at the time. Cornwall Council told CornwallLive that they are aware of the group and have started the legal process to remove them.

But now the group has moved on from the Park and Ride car park at Waitrose – to Tremorvah Playing Fields, just over a mile away in a residential area of the town near Truro Magistrates’ Court.
