Charlton Athletic ace Thierry Little subject of revived interest from Spurs

Small was regarded as a top prospect in his youth days with Everton and Southampton, but after a couple of senior loan spells, his permanent spell at The Valley showed his talent clearly.

The left-back and full-back played 14 times in Ligue 1, chipping in with one goal and one assist.

His contract situation is already said to have sparked interest from up-and-coming Championship side Derby County, and Football Insider now claim former Tottenham Hotspur admirers are back on Small’s trail.

Spurs are claimed to have failed to sign him from Southampton last year and, after watching his displays for Charlton Athletic, are lining up another move.
