Baby seen lying on floor at Taylor Swift concert in Paris sparks outrage

A photo of a baby lying on the floor at a Taylor Swift concert in Paris has sparked outrage. The image went viral online, with many people alarmed to see the youngster not only participating in such a big event, but also being put on the field in the arena.

The picture, which was originally uploaded by user X @Jacknights13 (who has since set her profile to private), shows the baby lying on a purple coat. The picture was reportedly taken on Friday night (May 10) when Taylor Swift was performing one of her Eras Tour concerts in Paris.

The child appears to be wearing what appears to be a purple coat in the standing section of the singer’s sold-out show at La Défense Arena – which can hold more than 40,000 people. There is also an unidentified person standing over the child in the image, although it is unclear if it is the parent or guardian.

Many people took to social media to share their shock and alarm at the image. At X, Laurenmurray wrote: “Those people who took their kid to a Taylor Swift concert and let him sleep on the floor in the footwell? What the hell goes through people’s heads”.

Larresmidnights added: “Hot, but I don’t think you should lay your baby down to sleep on the goddamn floor of the GA pit of a Taylor Swift concert. What the hell?” Whatamind13 stated, “Get your baby off the floor and GO HOME.”

En19831 said: “What kind of nonsense is this? Babies don’t belong on the floor of any concert venue, whether the show has started or not.” Aleksoap argued: “Tickets are expensive. if you can afford it, you can afford a babysitter.”

Stateofarabelle was furious: “I hope someone reports this to security, even grown adults aren’t meant to sit/lay on the ground.” Ayvinn_2 fumed: “A concert is no place for a child. I can’t get a babysitter, stay home.”

On TikTok, Amanda suggested: “I don’t think the problem is that she took a kid to the concert. I think the problem is that he put the child on the floor.” LayLay argued, “I mean I’m not okay with taking the kid to a concert, but at least she didn’t leave him at home for hours or days like that woman.”
