Coventry man missing, police ‘very concerned’

Concern is growing for an elderly man who has gone missing from Coventry. John went missing from the city earlier today (Monday, May 13).

John was last seen wearing dark sweatpants and a dark top, Coventry police said. He was using a cane at the time of his disappearance, it is understood.



Police said they were “very concerned for his welfare”. Anyone who sees the 69-year-old has been urged to call 999.

A Coventry Police spokesman said: “Have you seen John? He has gone missing from Coventry and we are really concerned for his welfare.

“When he was last seen he was wearing dark jogging bottoms, a dark top and was using a cane. If you see John, call 999 immediately, quoting log number 2889 of May 13.”
