Most motorcycle enthusiasts do not face the problem of a high seat height while riding a bike. The problem is only encountered when you stop, especially if you are rather short. Short riders need not worry as there are bikes on the market that solve this problem by offering a lower seat height. Note that there are commuter bikes on the market that don’t have this problem, but here is a list of bikes that are a little aspirational to ride.

Bajaj Avenger

Bajaj Avenger is the first bike that comes to anyone’s mind when low seat height bike is mentioned. The bike has a relaxed cruiser style. The seat is very comfortable down at 725 mm. It’s also quite easy to drive and doesn’t have a bad performance.

The only car to get is the long wheelbase. It provides stability at high speeds, but also becomes a bit of a burden while driving slowly on wet surfaces.

Jawa bikes

Jawa has launched 3 bikes and all of them have a very low seat height of 765mm. Short young riders will love this as it provides a very comfortable riding position.

It is one of the most balanced bikes in terms of ergonomics, performance and looks. If you want a retro looking bike but don’t want to compromise on performance then this is the bike for you

Royal Enfield Thunderbird/Meteor

The Royal Enfield Thunderbird might be a heavy bike, but it’s easy to handle thanks to the low seat height. At 775mm it doesn’t look that tall and the soft spring suspension makes it even lower. The Thunderbird is expected to be replaced soon by the Royal Enfield Meteor, which we are not sure will have a low seat height. There has been a modification to the platform which does not give us the exact height of the seat.

Suzuki Intruder

The Suzuki Intruder is a 150cc cruiser bike from Suzuki. This is a good alternative to the Suzuki Gixxer 150. As of now, there is no news about the development of the 250cc Intruder, but that bike might be a more enthusiastic choice in the cruiser segment. If we look at the numbers, the Suzuki Intruder has a seat height of 740mm. The bike’s weight is also manageable, making it a great bike for short beginner riders.

Harley StreetRod 750

The Harley Streetrod 750 is a bike for short riders with a big bank balance. It is the only premium bike on the list. The bike has a seat height of 785 mm. Being a Harley, it offers an optional low seat height of 725mm.

There are many other bikes that offer large segments of bikes with low seat height. The only advice for short riders is to take a proper riding lesson from a certified trainer before trying a bike.
