Roadworks for the week ahead in Coventry as the summer holidays begin

This week marks the start of the summer school holidays on Friday 19 July, as well as the return of the Caribbean Reggae Fever Festival on 20 and 21 July. This means the roads will be congested as many embark on summer getaways or head to the festival at War Memorial Park.

It’s expected to be a busy weekend and motorists should be mindful of roadworks in Coventry to avoid being stuck in traffic. A lot of road work is going on in the city, from road improvements, drainage improvements, sidewalk improvements, pothole repairs, and adding new structures.

Drivers should remember to allow extra travel time for their journeys, especially around the city center for the Caribbean Reggae Fever Festival and those using the freeways. Check out our list below of Coventry roadworks to watch out for this week.
