Norfolk Police said the pair were arrested after a man in his 60s reported being punched outside Carrow Road Stadium in Norwich.

An object is also believed to have been thrown at the man, who suffered a cut to his chin, the force added.

He was seen by paramedics at the scene and did not require further treatment.

Police said a man in his late teens has been arrested on suspicion of GBH assault.

Another man, aged 50, was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.

Both men were detained on Sunday evening.

Police believe another man was also involved in the incident and said inquiries are ongoing to find him.
