The air ambulance called a woman in a “serious condition” in the incident at the house in Nuneaton

An air ambulance was among the 999 responses to a woman in a “serious condition” in Nuneaton. Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance was spotted in the Weddington area on Saturday afternoon.

So were several police cars and two ambulances. West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) confirmed they were called to a “medical emergency” involving a woman at a property on Weddington Road.




A woman, who has not been identified, received trauma care at the scene. She was then taken to Coventry and Warwickshire University Hospital.

“We were called to a medical emergency at a property on Weddington Road, Nuneaton, at 1.09pm on Saturday 13 July,” a WMAS spokesman said. “Two ambulances, a paramedic and the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance attended the scene. Crews arrived to find a woman in serious condition.

“She received trauma care at the scene before being transported by land ambulance to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further emergency care.”
