The fire of a caravan was tackled by fire crews

Firefighters tackled a caravan fire on Bodmin Moor.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service sent two fire crews to the Bolventor area of ​​the A30 near the Jamaica Inn at 02:06 BST.

On arrival, firefighters found a 25ft (8m) caravan “well lit”, the service said.

A water carrier was dispatched due to the remote location, he added.

A fire service spokesman said: “Two appliances from Launceston and Bodmin and a water carrier from Wadebridge attended a call to a large van approximately 25 meters long on fire.”

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters extinguished the fire, they added.
