The cleaning guru advised: “Look no further than vinegar if you’re looking for an eco-friendly way to remove limescale.”

To fix the problem, mix vinegar and dish soap in a spray bottle and apply it to the affected areas of the shower screen.

Let the mixture work its magic for five minutes before washing. For this task, Delah recommends using a Scotch-Brite Zero Scratch Scouring Sponge, but any non-abrasive sponges will do the job.

If vinegar fails to deliver results, Delah suggests using a product specifically designed to combat calcium, limescale and rust. He recommends CLR Calcium Lime Rust Remover, saying it “works like a charm”.

He explained: “It doesn’t have a strong smell and works as advertised. You simply apply it to your shower screen, let it sit and wipe off once you’re done. Rinse and repeat until the limescale has been removed from your screen. shower.”
