Remove limescale from your shower screen with a kitchen staple from a professional cleaner

Limescale can be a nuisance, leaving shower screens looking dull and cloudy as it builds up over time.

This pesky residue is the result of mineral-rich water coating everything in its path, from glass to tiles and fixtures.

After the water dries, you’re left with persistent limescale deposits that can tarnish the shine of your shower area if not treated regularly.

But fear not, Delah Gomasi, head of cleaning company MaidForYou, has come to the rescue with some expert advice on how to tackle this common household problem.

He explained: “Cleaning large showers is difficult. If done wrong, you will have streaks and may not be able to remove watermarks which can be counterintuitive to the cleaning process,” reports the Express.

Delah has discovered a safe method for removing limescale from shower screens that anyone can follow, even without any professional cleaning experience.

Before reaching for harsh chemicals, Delah suggests trying a simple solution made from everyday items, with white vinegar being the star of the show.

The cleaning guru advised: “Look no further than vinegar if you’re looking for an eco-friendly way to remove limescale.”
