The housebuilder has granted planning permission for the Wiltshire scheme

Builder Redrow has been granted planning permission for a new development in Wiltshire.

Work will begin on the 2.7 acre Elm Grove scheme in Trowbridge after planning permission was granted.

Elm Grove will include 247 private and affordable homes, including one, two, three and four bedroom properties.

Construction is set to begin early next year, with the homes due to go on sale next summer.

More than £1.8m of investment will also be made to the local community as part of the planning agreement.

The funds will support the improvement of public transport links, healthcare and education.

Sian Smith, Sales Director for Redrow South West, said: “We are delighted to have received planning permission for our new Elm Grove development and are delighted to be expanding our existing community in Trowbridge.

“With excellent transport links, green open spaces and significant investment in the local community, Elm Grove is set to become a thriving and vibrant neighbourhood. We look forward to starting construction early next year and welcoming residents to this development soon.”
