Next up this week – Wigan Warriors

  • Five Warriors teams are in action this week.
  • First Team, First Wheelchair Team and Wheelchair Reserves in action on Saturday.
  • The Academies face the women’s team on Friday on the road on Sunday.

Five Warriors teams are in action this week, including the Academy, Women’s, First Team and both wheelchair teams.

Friday

Our Warriors week kicks off with our Academy team traveling to take on Hull FC Academy on Friday evening (7pm KO) at Hull Sports Center (Hull YPI). The Warriors, who are currently second in the table with 7 wins and 1 loss, will look to continue their good form on Friday’s visit.

Admission to the Academy game is £5 for adults and £2 for juniors (cash only).

Saturday

A packed Saturday’s action kicks off at Robin Park Leisure Center with a wheelchair double against the Halifax Panthers.

Our Wheelchair Reserves take on a Panthers Reserves team in a friendly at 10.30am before our Wheelchair First Team take on Halifax First Team in Round 4 of the Betfred Super Wheelchair Season League (12:30 KO).

Tickets for the clash can be purchased online HERE costing £5 Adults/ £3 Concessions.

Also on Saturday, Matt Peet’s first team travel to take on Hull FC at the MKM Stadium (2pm KO) as they aim to extend their lead at the top of the ladder.

Tickets and travel remain on sale for the Betfred Super League Round 18 fixture, with full ticket information available HERE. Tickets can be bought on the day at MKM Stadium at the away turnstiles, with no match day price increase – cash only.

Sunday

The Women’s First Team will aim to get back to winning ways when they travel to the LNER Community Stadium to take on York Valkyrie on Sunday afternoon (12pm KO). The match will be the first meeting between the two sides in 2024 in a highly anticipated Betfred Women’s Super League clash.

General admission tickets are available at £5 for adults and concessions (17-21 and over 65s) and free for under 16s. Premier Club tickets (which include pre-, half-time and post-match buffet and paid bar access) are £10 for adults and concessions (17-21 and over 65s) and free for U16s and can be bought online HERE .
