Woman injured in two-car crash in Coventry

A woman has been injured following a two-car crash in Coventry. It happened on Wheelwright Lane in Holbrooks.

Paramedics were called to the scene at around 8.30pm on Tuesday (July 16). Crews found a woman, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, suffered minor injuries.

She received treatment at the scene, West Midlands Ambulance Service said. Doctors gave the woman self-care advice before she was discharged.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 8.29pm on Tuesday (July 16) to an RTC involving two cars on Wheelwright Lane in Coventry. An ambulance intervened.

“Crews discovered that a woman, who was a passenger in the first car, had injuries that were not believed to be serious. She received treatment at the scene along with personal care advice before being discharged.”
