Merseyside Police continued to appeal for information to help find a gang member who was jailed after ordering four semi-automatic pistols from the dark web. Daniel Humphreys is wanted on a recall to prison for breaching his license conditions.

Daniel Humphreys, 29, from Netherton, was previously jailed in November 2018. The 29-year-old, along with Joseph Halsall and Josh Ali, used the Dark Web to order four semi-automatic pistols, a silencer and 150 bullets from America. . The gang planned to send the weapons to armed criminals in the city, as the deadly shipment was hidden inside a guitar amplifier.



Police raided their home and arrested them, leading to a prison sentence in November 2018 of eight years and eight months. However, Humphreys is now wanted again by Merseyside Police following his release.

He is described as being 5ft 9in, of slim build, with short brown hair and blue eyes. Humphreys is also believed to have links to the Netherton and Southport areas of Merseyside.
