World-renowned dance show comes to Bristol

World-renowned dance show Lord of the Dance is coming to Bristol next month, produced by Irish-American dancer Michael Flatley. The much-loved Irish dance show will be performing at the Bristol Beacon from August 6th to August 11th.

Flatley last performed on stage in 2016 at Caesar’s Colosseum in Las Vegas. However, he continued as the show’s creator, producer and choreographer, and is preparing a celebration for his beloved creation.

Audiences can expect stunning costumes, energetic Irish dancing, incredible music and a magical night of dance and heritage. Flatley’s show aimed to lift Irish dance from theaters to the areas and was watched by an estimated 2.5 billion across the globe when it was performed at the 1997 Academy Awards.
