Dewsbury Ring Road closure updates as vehicle hits bridge

A section of the Dewsbury Ring Road has been closed after a vehicle crashed into a bridge.

Kirklees Council said the Dewsbury Ring Road is closed between Halifax Road and Huddersfield Road near the station. This is due to a vehicle hitting the bridge in the area earlier this afternoon.

It is not yet known if anyone was injured in the accident.

Kirklees Council said: “Dewsbury Ring Road, Dewsbury from Halifax Road – Huddersfield Road (near the station), is currently closed due to a vehicle hitting the bridge earlier this afternoon.”
