Bournemouth’s Cook hails new signing as a ‘hand up’

Bournemouth star Lewis Cook has hailed one of the players joining the club this summer.

Cook praised Cherries team-mate Daniel Jebbison, who arrived from Sheffield United.

Jebbison were relegated last season but impressed in the Premier League and earned a move back into the top flight.

Cook told him Daily echo: “I had a conversation with him about all this, about how he came to England. It is quite interesting.

“Everyone has their own story.

“It sure looks like a hand.

“I scored him in training and it was tough!

“He’s a good boy too. Bournemouth generally sign good people.”

Cook added: “Tall, quick, good with his feet.

“I think if you have those components, you’ll always be a hand.”
