Warwickshire pub with Indian food in outdoor domes has become ‘destination’

Summer vacations have officially begun, which means now is the time to enjoy a few family days and enjoy some hearty meals in the hot summer season. As it’s summer, it’s always perfect to visit an established pub that has an outdoor beer garden, but this particular pub in Warwick has a private dome dining experience for customers.

The Falcon at Hatton is described as a “foodie destination”, which has been operating since 2014. The pub includes a rustic country bar with a modern twist, cozy spaces and two chic restaurant areas. The venue offers authentic Indian cuisine alongside traditional pub fare with an emphasis on ‘fresh produce’ and friendly and efficient service.

The chef at Falcon is Krishnapal Negi, who created an Indian menu based on recipes he loved as a child growing up in the Indian Himalayas. The menu focuses on “light and healthy dishes that are vibrant in flavor and color and flavored with balanced herbs and spices, say the bosses.

Krishna is an award-winning chef who made a name for himself when he launched Tangawizi in Richmond Upon Thames in 2004. He was recognized at the time for his innovative menus and became a regular haunt for Hollywood celebrities Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie . He received a Michelin award with this restaurant and went on to work under Michelin-starred Vineet Bhatia.

He decided to pursue the concept of Indian cuisine alongside British pub classics all under one roof, with The Falcon at Hatton at the heart of his new dining concept. Krishna has a unique ‘Krishna Specials’ menu where diners can enjoy limited edition Specials of the Month. This month’s dishes include Malvani Fish Curry, Kalmi Murg Kebab, Tandoori Stuffed Mushroom, Delhi Wala Samosa Chaat, Bhuna Ghost, Matar Paneer and more.

On the other hand, The Falcon at Hatton offers the best of both indoor and outdoor dining with a unique outdoor dining experience. Whether it’s a romantic date, a night out with friends or an anniversary celebration, you can book one of the 360-degree crystal domes for a private dining experience like no other.

The domes are located on the outdoor terrace topped with palm trees, which include subtle ambient lighting to create an amazing experience after dark, and you can make it more unique by bringing the music with you. Staff will be on hand, and with heating and cooling available, the domes provides a relaxing environment regardless of the weather.

• Amritsari Fish – One of the popular Indian fish appetizers mixed with gram flour, ginger and carom seeds. £9.00.

• Pan-fried Cajun Chicken Breast – Served with chunky chips, dressed leaves and mint yogurt. £15.00.

• Fried perch – Served with Sicilian tomatoes, capers and olive sauce with new potatoes crushed with herbs. £18.00.

• Chicken Jalfrezi – Pieces of chicken breast cooked in onion, tomato, garlic, spices and bell pepper. £16.00.

The Falcon at Hatton has a 4-star rating on Tripadvisor with a Travelers Choice badge for 2023. Other ratings include food (4.5/5), service (4/5), value (4/5) and atmosphere (4 /5) ). Many customers praised the outdoor dome experience as “fantastic” and “superior for families”.

One diner said: “We dined in a dome which was a fantastic experience. Great for families with small children as you can close the door and let the kids run around without disturbing others. Loves the food and the fact that you can play your music. Very good and ideal for a special occasion. The service and quality were superb.”
