Manchester United have reportedly expressed an interest in signing one of Spain’s Euro 2024 winners.

Erik ten Hag’s side have already been very active in the transfer market so far this summer.

United’s first major deal brought in Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna for £36.5m.

This was followed by the arrival of Leny Yoro, the 18-year-old signing from Lille for £52m.

Ten Hag are now looking to make new additions to their team.

According to the Manchester Evening News, United are monitoring Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi.

Zubimendi replaced Rodri at half-time during the Euro 2024 final when Spain beat England.

Zubimendi, 25, who has 10 caps for Spain, has so far spent his entire career at Real Sociedad.

The defensive midfielder made 188 appearances for Sociedad. Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Zubimendi.

United have reportedly agreed personal terms with Manuel Ugarte, but Paris Saint-Germain are unwilling to sell the Uruguayan midfielder for less than £59m.
