Leeds Pride takes place today and is the biggest free event of its kind in the UK!

Organizers promise it will be bigger and better than ever.. with around 50,000 people in attendance.

Road closures

Access to areas of Leeds city center will be restricted to vehicles and public transport routes in the city center may be affected during Leeds Pride 2024.

Event venue Lower Briggate

The following roads (partially/fully) will be closed to unauthorized vehicles and pedestrians to allow the event to take place and break down between 5am on Sunday 21st July and Monday 22nd July:

• Bottom brigades

• Blayds Yard/Heatons Court/Blayds Mews

• Call Lane

• The calls

• The end of the bridge

The parade begins

Road closures will be carried out on the roads below (partial / full) from 7:00 a.m. until approx. 13.30 to allow the assembly of floats and parade participants

• Portland Crescent

• Portland Gate East

• Cookridge Street

• Headrow

• West gate

• East Park

The parade route

The road closures will be carried out on the roads below (partial / full) from 11:00 a.m. until approx. 15:00 to allow the Leeds Pride Parade to travel from the Headrow to the Lower Briggate venue.

• Headow (eastbound)

• Great George Street

• St. Ana Street

• Albion Street

• Albion Street

• Park Row

• Upper Basinghall Street

• Albion Street (southern section)

• Vicar Lane

• East Gate (heading west)

• King Edward Street

• Pieței Noi Street

• York Street (west section)

• Duke Street (northbound)
