Tottenham predicted team vs Manchester City – Postecoglou changes left back and midfielder

Ange Postecoglou has a number of decisions to make in Tottenham’s squad to face Manchester City, albeit without many options to do so.

Spurs host Pep Guardiola’s side at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday night, knowing that two wins for the north London outfit in their remaining games, along with Aston Villa losing their last game at Crystal Palace, would see Postecoglou’s men finish in fourth place and qualify for the Champions League. ,

A win at City would take the visitors one step closer to lifting the Premier League trophy for the fourth year in a row, while a win or a draw for Spurs would give their local rivals Arsenal the edge on the final day.

Postecoglou has a fresh injury problem, with Yves Bissouma missing the last two games of the campaign with a knee injury, while Richarlison’s calf problem means his season is over.

The Spurs boss will have to decide whether Rodrigo Bentancur, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg or Oliver Skipp replace Bissouma in the center of the park, and the Australian must also decide whether to start Oliver Skipp again at left-back if he brings back Emerson Royal in team. or pushes Micky van de Ven to the left.

Here’s the squad we reckon Postecoglou will pick to face City:

It’s between Bentancur and Hojbjerg for the anchor role, and with the Uruguayan likely to be here next season, he could get the nod as Postecoglou looks to the future.
