Studley man charged with attempted murder after boys hurt

A man has been charged with attempted murder after two boys were reported to have been attacked and seriously injured in Warwickshire.

Dale Gardiner, 40, of Studley, was also charged with wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, police said.

It relates to an incident just before midnight on Saturday where police were called to an attack with a bladed weapon in Rowland Avenue, Studley.

Mr Gardiner is due to appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court on Monday for an initial hearing.
