Taylor Swifts message to fans ahead of Liverpool concert

Taylor Swift sent a message to fans as the first leg of her European tour kicked off.

Taylor kicked off the Eras Tour last week with four nights at La Defense Arena in Paris. The star’s next stop is Stockholm, and in just under a month he’ll be in the UK with shows in Edinburgh, Liverpool, London and Cardiff.

The Eras tour follows the recent release of Taylor’s 31-track double album, The Tortured Poets Department, and Taylor’s shows in Paris provided the first look at the type of setlist fans can expect at subsequent concerts.

The 34-year-old said she was “thrilled” to perform for every audience on the tour as she “dedicated” the post to the new Tortured Poets leg of The Eras Tour, Wales Online reports. The post read: “This post is dedicated to the new Tortured Poets leg of the Eras tour (aka Female Rage The Musical!) and everyone who made these memories so magical.

“To my team, fellow performers and band who worked tirelessly during the break to create this surprise for you – but especially for the fans in Paris. I am so grateful that you were the first to show this to me. for giving us so much excitement, passion and love.”

She added: “I’m so excited to play this for every audience on the tour. See you very soon, Stockholm!” At this point, the post has garnered nearly five million likes from delighted supporters.”

Are tickets still available for The Eras Tour?

The tour is sold out, but people are told to keep an eye on Ticketmaster and AXS for official tickets, as there’s a chance fans who can no longer attend will resell theirs.

Third party ticket sites such as Viagogo has tickets listed but at more than three times the face value price. Standing tickets cost £617 each, while seat tickets are up to £647 which includes restricted viewings.

Sites like Living Chairs allows fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that many event promoters say that tickets should cannot be resold after initial purchase and will not be valid for concert admission.

Fans attending live events with tickets purchased through resale websites are advised to double-check ticket terms and conditions at the point of sale – such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation – to ensure a smooth live event experience.

Tickets may be canceled if found to be second-hand. As a result, fans buy at their own risk. That said, Viagogo also commented: “Viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the guarantee.”

A representative from Viagogo confirmed during a chat with Express.co.uk that there are indeed some real rip-offs, noting that tickets for one of Taylor Swift’s most anticipated shows in the UK cost just £172 . They also addressed the skepticism surrounding ticket resale sites.

Regarding the much-anticipated European leg of Taylor Swift’s Eras tour, a rep said: “We haven’t seen anything like this since The Beatles and with tickets having just gone on sale, demand is at an all-time high right now”.

Viagogo, a regulated marketplace for ticket exchanges, advised: “Viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the freedom to buy and sell tickets to their favorite live events, safely and securely, backed by a guarantee. Sellers on our marketplace may list tickets at high values ​​when demand is high, but prices can change and tend to decrease over time.”

They further advised fans: “We recommend that Swifties wait for demand to calm down and check regularly for a list that fits their budget. Tickets for Taylor Swift’s concerts in the UK have already sold for just £172 on our platform. Also, tickets listed at attractively high eye-levels rarely, if ever, sell.”

Ticketing company AXS also warned: “The only way to get a valid ticket for Taylor Swift shows is through approved ticket agents. In the UK, approved ticket agents are Ticketmaster, AXS or direct via the venue’s website. In Ireland, the approved ticket agent is Ticketmaster.”

They reiterated: “Any tickets found to be purchased through resale on the unofficial secondary market will not be valid for admission to the concerts and will be canceled in accordance with the terms and conditions of sale.”

They commented: “Through official resale facilities, ticket resale prices are capped to help combat ticket price inflation and stop ticket promotions. For more information on official resale facilities, fans should visit their approved ticket agent’s website.”

Websites such as Viagogo and Vivid Seats provide platforms for fans to buy resale tickets from each other. However, it is essential to know that many event organizers claim that tickets should not be resold after purchase and will not be considered valid for admission to concerts.
