Listed – 100 Tesco locations where Ikea orders can be picked up for free

A new list has been published of the latest updated Tesco stores where items ordered from Ikea can be collected for free – if they cost more than £100. IKEA has now opened its 100th mobile collection point in Tesco stores. The expansion of the online operation has meant that almost 40% of IKEA’s total sales are made this way.

Customers can use the mobile collection service from Tesco stores by placing their order on IKEA.com, through the IKEA app or with the assistance of an IKEA colleague, either remotely or in-store. Orders are available from the following day and can be collected from a customer’s local participating Tesco store in one of two daily collection windows.

The scheme was initially trialled in 2022, before a national rollout began late last year. After the opening of the 100th pick-up point, IKEA plans to open another 100 pick-up points, half of which will be opened this year.

To use IKEA’s mobile collection service, customers can simply go through the usual online checkout process and select Click and Collect for their local Tesco store. At their chosen delivery date and time, customers can follow the IKEA Click and Collect signage in their local Tesco park and meet a delivery driver who will hand over the order.

Beyond mobile pick-up points, IKEA offers collection services through more than 10,000 local DPD points, as well as free same-day click and collect in all IKEA stores.
