Crysencio Summerville attracts Premier League interest after being named Championship Player of the Season; the Leeds winger is wanted by West Ham, with Fulham also showing initial interest; Summerville scored 21 goals and had 10 assists last season

West Ham and Fulham are interested in Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville.

The Dutchman is one of the strikers West Ham are tracking, while Fulham are also showing an initial interest in the 22-year-old.

Initial talks between West Ham and Leeds revealed a wide gap in valuations. The Hammers would need the asking price to drop to get a deal done.

Summerville has entered the final two years of his contract at Elland Road.

The young winger was named Championship Player of the Season after a stellar campaign for Daniel Farke’s Leeds.

Summerville scored 21 goals and registered 10 assists, but Leeds lost the Championship play-off final to Southampton.

West Ham in talks over Bayern’s Mazraoui

The latest from Sky Sports News’ Dharmesh Sheth:

West Ham I am in discussions with Bayern Munich over the signing of the right back Noussair Mazraoui.

The Moroccan international has entered the final two years of his contract at Bayern.

Mazraoui is not the only right-back West Ham are looking at.

They retain an interest in Southamptonhis Kyle Walker-Peters and Manchester Unitedhis Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Who else does West Ham fancy in the transfer window?

West Ham are also interested in Villa Aston redirect John Duran and Villarrealhis Alexander Sorlothalthough no official offers have yet been made for either striker.

West Ham are also playing the waiting game for the Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo.

The Hammers have agreed terms with Nice, but the player’s preference is Juventus – who remain in talks with the French club over their own deal.

West Ham are looking at alternative targets, incl from AC Milan Fikayo Tomori and Red Bull Salzburg’s Oumar Solet.

United value him at around £15m, although wages could be an issue. Both Walker-Peters and Wan-Bissaka are in the final year of their contracts.

And what about Fulham?

Fulham are discussing internally whether to come back with an improved offer for the Fluminense midfielder knitting needle.

There is a valuation gap between what the Brazilian club want and what Fulham are prepared to pay. Sky Sports News understands that the player is eager for movement and does not expect personal terms to be a problem.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag says Scott McTominay he is an important player and they don’t want to sell him.

However, Fulham remain interested and are discussing whether to make another approach after a £17m bid was rejected earlier in the window.

Fulham had a bid rejected but remain keen on the player. There is an expectation that they will come back with an improved offering.

When does the summer transfer window open and close?

The 2024 summer transfer window officially closes on August 30 at 11pm UK time in the Premier League and 11.30pm in Scotland.

The Premier League moved ahead of Deadline Day to link up with Europe’s other major leagues. The closing dates were set following discussions with leagues in England, Germany, Italy, Spain and France.
