The report says that the upcoming model will use the same 650 Twin platform that was seen in the standard Interceptor 650 Twin.

After successfully launching the feature-laden Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 in India, Royal Enfield (RE) is now gearing up to introduce another model called the Interceptor Bear 650. Ahead of the official launch, the patented design of the motorcycle has been leaked online. , revealing some of the important elements and key features.

The report says that the upcoming model will use the same 650 Twin platform that was seen in the standard Interceptor 650 Twin. However, it will have mild off-road capabilities, allowing riders to enjoy smooth rides on multiple terrains.

Design

Going by the patented design, the Interceptor Bear 650 features the signature style round-shaped headlight setup paired with stylish indicators on the sides at both ends. The leak also suggested that the bike would ditch the bulkier dual exhaust system. Instead, it will use a two-into-one exhaust that will make it look more aesthetically pleasing and eye-pleasing in the segment.

Comfort and seats

In terms of comfort, the model gets a single seating arrangement with grab handles for the passenger. Apart from this, the model will be equipped with an upside-down fork setup, while the rear end will be supported by a double-spring monoshock.

Motor

Most of the specification details are still under wraps. Even the bike’s curb weight is not yet known. However, we believe the Interceptor Bear 650 might use a 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel twin mill that will churn out a peak power of 47PS at 7150rpm and 52Nm at 5250rpm.

It is expected to fall under its own weight between 200 kg and 220 km.
